Korihi. (noun) singing of birds; chorus, refrain.

Korihi was established in 2023 and aims to contribute to the ongoing normalisation and revitalisation of te reo Māori within whānau, communities and organisations.

Our vision for te reo Māori is captured by our name, Korihi. We hope that te reo Māori will one day flourish and be as loud as the morning chorus of birds that once filled Aotearoa.

Korihi has three goals:

1. to create quality te reo Māori resources for schools and homes;
2. to provide quality te reo Māori services and advice;
3. to build te reo Māori capability in schools and organisations (both private and public)
